2020 Summer Series

SCWA presents the Summer Series!

Summer Series are weekly Zoom meetings to discuss writing. They are open to the public and free to attend. Every Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. EDT, the Summer Series meets via Zoom to take on a specific writing topic. Led by SCWA member and radio show host Kasie Whitener, the Summer Series is an informal discussion on writing.

June topics are centered on storytelling: compelling dialogue, where to start the story, how to write the ending, and keeping your middle from sagging.

July topics will be about publishing, marketing, and selling your work.

In August, we discuss getting feedback, leveraging your workshop to become a better writer, and how each genre sets its own reader expectations.

Every session will be recorded and accessible to SCWA members through the member portal on our web site. You need only register once. Click here and Kasie will send you the Zoom meeting information. We will use the same Zoom link every week.

See you Tuesday!
