Author Biography
Dea Jones writes short stories and devotional material under her own name as well as romantic suspense novels under her pen name, Holland Richards. Her short story, A COUPLE OF JEWELS, was published in the online literary journal, Ember; a journal of luminous things. She has also published daily devotional readings in THE WORD IN SEASON, a quarterly devotional of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Most recently, as Holland Richards, Dea has self-published her first novel, DESERT COURAGE. Dea lives near Columbia with her husband and a dysfunctionally spoiled rescue Boston terrier named Winston. She is a member of the South Carolina Writer's Association and the Columbia III Writers Group. When she is not working by day as a middle school teacher or writing by night, Dea enjoys reading, traveling, watching old classic movies, and trying new recipes.
