It's Not Polite to Kill People and It's not Polite to Stash the Cash are both available.  I am retired and write by the name of BB Short.  This series features Bela Sanders and her closest friends and family in their pursuit of solving mysteries that just don't seem right.  Bela is obsessed with finding the answers to misdeeds and seeing justice prevail.  The series takes place in a small lake community between Charleston and Columbia South Carolina.  All of the characters are fictional although I do know a few people that think they are part of these stories.  I consider these books to be murder mysteries and good for an afternoon beach read.  Book Three is on it's way and is titled,  It's Not Polite to Fan the Flames.
